I want to become an infectious diseases doctor, what do I need to do?I know I need to go to medical school, and then go into an Infectious Diseases residency. Does anybody know of any good textbooks or materials online I could study for infectious diseases? :)

get into a good medical school first , get good grades and participate in research if you can, it will help . maybe when you do graduate or when you become an intern you will change your mind and want another speciality , or maybe you won't. the most important thing is to become a good dr so be a good student and a good person .
