well, you didn't give a lot of details but as far as I know these could be the causes for the symptoms you describe:
1. Cervicitis : swelling of the cervix, may also cause vaginal bleeding.
2. Vulvovaginitis: inflammation or infection of the vulva and vagina (the swelling should be a second symptom)
3. Gonorrhea: a sexually transmitted disease which besides the yellow discharge can come with painful urination, vaginal pain or sore throat.
4. Chlamydia : also and STD that along with the discharge can present symptoms such as fatigue, yellow skin or pain in the urethra.
