Call your chemist or doctor and ask - different treatments have different requirements, and only the person who prescribed it would know this :)

It is best to wait at minimum one week to 2 weeks. This way your body has by then finished with the medication. If your partner has not contracted the same STI, then it just rests on the week or two after your medication. But if you and your partner have contracted the same STI, wait until you both have waited at least a week before sexually active.

Also it is best that the next time you have intercourse that you have the female partner use a female condom. This way you both have a less likelihood of obtaining an STI again.

It depends on the antibiotic used. Your partner should also get checked and will probably need antibiotic also, you will need to wait till your partner is done with their antibiotic regimen also.
