Yes, for reasons that I hope are obvious.

OH hell yes.
Denying the fact then teens have sex, and not teaching them about STD's and condoms, and birth control is stupid and short sighted.
(notice condoms and birth control are not necessarily the same thing...)

Absolutely. High school is the time when most people start having sex. Whatever happened to Sex Ed classes to teach this stuff?

Yes. So many teens think they can have sex and they won't get a STD. Some girls/guys think they are too good to get a STD, but trust me STD's don't discriminate. I consider myself pretty and I live in a nice home, and have a great paying job and I have herpes. The guy I got herpes from told me he was "clean" from STD's. He also has a very good job, lives in a really nice house and is really hot! Most people think only "nasty" looking people have STD's, but that is far from the truth! Teens need to learn that getting a STD like HIV , hepatitis, or Herpes will effect their lives forever. Other STD's can be treated and go away, but others are with you forever!

Absolutely! Unfortunately, many teens find it difficult to talk about sex with their parents and find many wrong answers from their peers. I think STD awareness is huge, as is pregnancy awareness where sex education is considered. I am a mother of three teens and talk to them about sex, drugs, friends, etc all the time-probably to the point that they wish I would be quiet, but knowledge is power!
