Here's the situation. The guy who used the urinal before my friend, did not flush. So his urine is in the urinal. My friend was about to flush it when his itouch slipped from his hand and went in the urinal. Without thinking, he quickly stuck his hand inside, picked up his itouch and then ran to the sink and washed his hands with soap. It took him maybe 10 seconds to get to the sink.
Let's say the guy who used it had HIV or some type of sexually transmitted disease/infection. Also, for argument sake, the guy's blood or semen was mixed with his urine. So in the urinal, there is the guy's urine, blood, semen, and toilet water (maybe a cup full). The time that passed between when the guy used it and when my friend stuck his hand was only a minute. Another thing, there was a cut on my friend's finger.
Will my friend get a disease, HIV, STD, etc because he placed his hand in the urinal?
(PS: My friend is an idiot. The reason he did this without flushing or getting a wad of paper to cover his hands was because his itouch cost him more $ 350.)

It's possible to get HIV from it...but very unlikely. He's more at risk for a hepatitis (so long as he's up to date on his shots he should be fine for Hep) staph infection or e coli.
Make sure he keeps it clean & he should be ok.

Studies have proven time and time again that HIV does not survive well outside the human body. In artificially high concentrations produced in the lab, HIV drying that occurs outside of the body reduces the number of infectious viral particles by 99 percent in just a few hours. Since the concentration of HIV in blood or other bodily fluids is much lower, HIV drying outside the human body virtually eliminates all infectious HIV particles therefore making the risk of HIV infection from blood or bodily fluids outside the body essentially zero.
Keep in mind that while HIV infection from infectious bodily fluids outside the human body is essentially zero, other diseases like hepatitis B and C can and do occur. Therefore, any blood or bodily fluid outside the body should be considered a health risk and cleaned up using universal precautions and cleaning fluids that are known to kill viruses on contact.
Ask
did he smell it? how does it taste?
