Or are stds just a rare problem that mainly comes up with people who often have sex with diffarent people without using condoms?

No, stds are pretty common and you're taking a risk every time you have unprotected sex with someone. If you are in a long term committed relationship both partners should be tested before having unprotected sex...and even then you're putting your health in their hands by trusting them not to cheat.

Birth control does not prevent STD's. If you are worried about this why are you trying to get this woman pregnant? Do you trust her?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! it is always worth wearing a condom every single time no matter what! Even if she's on birth control or not, if its anal or even now a days oral too! STD's are very common and very serious. Alot of ppl don't take them seriously because they know there are some treatments out there, but still, why would you want to put yourself at risk of catching something that there is no cure for?
