Where did sexually transmitted diseases come from?We're all aware that STDs/STIs are contracted by sexual contact with another infected person. What I want to know is where these diseases originally came from, how they entered circulation among people.

The mutated. Really, they did. That's how there's so many different kinds. Not just one or two. Eventually, one just popped up (again:mutation) and then other started to form...

Like any other disease, they evolved into existence... I believe the H.I.V. virus mutated from monkies in Africa.
