Tina has Twins
Chlamydia is not birth control . . . but left untreated, it can scar your fallopian tubes resulting in infertility. If you are actively trying to conceive, you should see a doctor and have them check your tubes.
If there is blockage, they will discuss whether it can be unblocked or if you will need to consider something like IVF to become pregnant.
Good luck.
Tabatha..
well 1.. prolly should have been using protection, that is kinda gross. 2.. you might very well have permanent fertility problems due to scaring. or already had fertility problems. because no the disease is not birth control. it is also VERY dangerous to the fetus if you have a venereal disease of
ANY kind. before you try to have a baby... you should be clean. it could result in miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, etc if left untreated.

It lowers your chances of getting pregnant. For life. There is no getting rid of the scar tissue in your fallopian tubes.
When a woman is having problems conceiving, one of the first thing doctors check for is chlamydia, that should give you a clue.
However: chlamydia is NOT birth control. If you want to avoid pregnancy, you need protection.
