Are smallpox and the bubonic plague considered chronic diseases?

Are smallpox and the bubonic plague considered chronic diseases?And what are someother interesting chronic diseases that not many know about?

well I just looked it up because I wanted make sure I was right, and I found a list of chronic diseases and smallpox and bubonic plague both were not on it. I checked three or four different sites including the CDC and neither smallpox and bubonic plague were on any of them.

Chronic diseases are usually diseases that you end up living with. Some examples are: arthritis, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and epilepsy.

The reason why smallpox and bubonic plague are not chronic diseases is because you can get rid of them, and they do not last for a long time. Think of chronic pain, it lasts for a LONG time.
