STD are caused by bacteria such as Gonorrhea,Chlamydia, virus- Herpes,HIV or fungal. In Gonorrhea, there is usually a copius discharge in the urethra, whitish-cheese like or yellowish and usually there;s fever and pain in urination. You will also feel swollen lymphnodes in your inguinal region. In Herpes, there is appearance of small mass (papule) and sometimes ulceration on the genital area. Consult with an Infectious Disease specialist.

See itchy feeling and pain during urination are symptoms of infection and you should consult a doctor immediately without fail.

it can be herpes (HSV2) Genital. Check it out if you have blisters around that area or not. Another one is yeast infection. It's also itchy but not as much pain as HSV2 (genital herpes). I rarely have yeast infection by bacteria. But I have HSV2. HSV2 symptoms are tingling, burning, itching feelings. Sometimes, it comes without early warning signs but sometimes it comes along with warning signs. Sometimes, HSV is still active even there is no blisters or symptoms. for more information, please visit to the following links. If it is yeast infection, try to clean the area and do not let it wet. Also see your Ob/Gyn. Herpes sometimes can't be seen by regular eyes. Ob/Gyn clinics have strong lights and it can be seen by those lights. When the blisters break, it becomes regular wound and sometimes doctors can't know whether it is herpes or regular wound. In this case, your doctor may tell you to get blood test or you can ask your doctor to test your blood.
